Castel Malawi Limited (CML) adopted two forests which are within water catchment areas. CML has committed to be the care takers of these trees for the period of 5 years under the stewardship of the Ministry of Forestry and Natural Resources. CML planted 16,000 natural trees in the Southern, Central and Northern Region of Malawi.
As one of the largest water user and coal for steam generation, Castel Malawi is committed to giving back to communities in water catchment restoration and management projects.
